About Dissemination

Dissemination is a body of work that features three large scale works comprised of 5,436 wearable components. My work seeks to stimulate an emotional response, similar to that which one might experience in a remarkable place. In the past, when I have experienced this, I would pick up a stone or a piece of organic matter from the site. I want my audience to experience my interactive installations, and take a component with them.

The installations are designed with the intention of being disseminated over time. In fact, these installations will not be complete until each and every element is plucked from the surface and taken to a new home. Every piece that is acquired will be disseminated, signed, and editioned by me. Once an element is removed from an installation, I will track the latitude and longitude of where it will live. This data will be collected and accessible to all who choose to follow the project.
